Mihaela Munch-Andersen is a French, Romanian born architect and urban designer. She received the Master of Architecture degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture La Villette in Paris and the Master of Urban Design degree from Institut Français d’Urbanisme in Marne-la-Vallée.

In 2005 she began collaborating with architecture practices in Paris – Portzamparc, Valode & Pistre, Baumschlager Eberle and Nicolas Michelin. She developed a wide range of projects, from hotels, commercial, residential and public buildings, to urban masterplans.

In 2020 she started working on smaller scale projects, such as interiors and private houses. Her approach is context-based, prioritising function, form, light and materials.

She currently lives and works in Copenhagen.
